Home / Home Elevator Installation Estimates
The installation costs of a home elevator ultimately depend on the Installation company or contractor you choose.

Universal Lifts does not provide Elevator installation services, but we are happy to recommend experienced Certified Installation Companies in your area.

Prices for installation can vary significantly based on several factors including:
  • Current Raw Materials Costs - Wood and Steel prices are constantly fluctuating
  • Seasonality - Most Contractors have a "busy season"
  • The Installers current schedule - Many Installation companies will move you to the front of the line, but it will include expedited pricing.
  • State Licensing requirements for Installers - Some states require a Licensed Elevator mechanic to install your elevator
  • State Code requirements - Different states have different code requirements for elevators that can make installation more costly
  • State Permitting requirements (if applicable) - Some states require pulling a permit prior to installation and an inspection sign off after installation.
  • Your building timeline - how quickly you need the Elevator installed

We recommend choosing and Installation Company and getting on their Schedule as early in the process as possible.
